just checked that out hibbert. thankfully I think this is the problem, I unhooked the throttle cable and started the bike, it resulted in a low idle. I then rehooked the cable and lubed the slide up some, and that helped, however I think the slide may be tired, or maybe there is a tired spring that needs replacing.
so now that I believe this to be the problem, where do I go from here? full replacement, or a couple new parts? thanks for the help!
