Modern Vespa

Lots of us have been on here for a while now & kinda know each other, or our scoots at least... However the majority us being males we dont know squat about our actual real lives (besides Vespas), let aloe know real names etc...
It is likely we could all walk past each other in the street, yet never twig its a person we kinda know...
So, this may be as good a time as any to 'meet' & show a bit of our 'normal life'

Here is a bit about me
Im my 40s, no kids, from N.Z., living in Melbourne since 2001.
Work as manager for Victoria, selling Vertical Gardens, Green Roof, Underground Water Tanks for G Store & Atlantis... Plus kinda managing the store.

I was admiring the new seat (only fitted about 5min earlier, i sepwear it was the seat.

Banjo Sharks all went back, got 7 (up to 1.4m) & a stingray that evening & lost numerous others... They were fun to reel in, as i had 250-300m of line out!

I'm Jeff, 71 years old and retired from Broadcasting and Advertising. Married and living in Fresno. I've got the P200 in the pic as well as a P125 as a backup.

Hello everyone. My real name is the name on my account, Dwight. I work in education as a high school counselor. Currently 49 but will hit 50 this year which I can't believe. I love my Rally's and I find a real joy in bringing bikes back from a non-running status. I have a couple of sweet old dogs (both 16 years old) and I live in Lake Forest (So Cal). I have a 1960 Series 2 which I will begin work on after I get the red Rally back in working order. I have Malcolm to thank for selling me the white Rally with the "74" on the front. You. I forgot how big American roads are, in Japan that would be a 4 lane highway, literally.

That is just the street in front of my house. Luckily, no one lives across the street so it might look bigger than it is, but four cars could fit if no one parked on the sides. The streets must be small there!

That's me, Darran. It rains in Dublin. So you need tyres. My Scoot got smashed in December. Was wrecked. Now it's painted but I haven't had the time to get it back together yet. Hoping that have it back on the road before the end of April.

When did you move to Japan neurotic or have you always been there? I spend about a decade or so in Tokyo and elsewhere in the region.

I've been here for about 6 months. Got myself a new ride, a 2011 Super Cub 110, the Stella is parked in my parents' garage, too much money and hassle to ship over.

I have been known to frequent the general discussion section when my GTS isn't running right but I rocked the VBA for years before there was such a thing as a modern Vespa. There are few Vespas in my small part of the world and even fewer vintage ones. I recently added the VBC to show where my heart is. The banter is better here too.
