I had a MC ride this morning to the East Bay, so wasn't sure I'd be able to upload in time.

There was a Dermatology Convention going on and SFPD everywhere.

The weather's been pretty nice, so I went out for a quick ride yesterday after returning from a week+ business trip just to get the old battery charged up.

I have an appropriate tag I could post to get the game going again if Laura wants to defer... Otherwise, waiting for the next destination.

Just wondering. Is there a new tag or can we consider this one up for grabs? the weather is getting really nice.

Since we've been waiting for a new tag since March 8th, what if I post an interim tag, just to get the game going again. When Laura comes back on line perhaps we can all let her play through.

I was out near the bay for this one. If you've ever been out that way you'll recognize it. There's a dog park nearby. More hints available...stay tuned.

The name of the road where this is located matches the function of the building....

Nope. Along the Bay marshes. Kinda mid-Peninsula. The building has some interesting...um...accoutrements that speak to its purpose though some of the technology involved is of more recent vintage.

OK, pretty weekend coming up. Here are some hints:

This building is on _ _ _ _ _ Road.

There's a movie called _ _ _ _ _ Ranch.

The US Congress funds _ _ _ _ _ Free Europe.

Here 'tis: Radio Rd. in Redwood City. The very end of Radio Rd. Seemed a lot further from the freeway
than it looked on the map. The building on the right is some kind of church.

I was surprised when I went out there to find the building on the right had been converted to a church, as it used to be a radio station as recently as the late '90s.

Okay, on to the next one. I'll even start you off with a small hint. I came across this location while searching for the last tag.
I won't say what relates this to the last one other than the obvious: that they both have buildings with antennas.

As you may have noticed, this tag is at the end of the road like the last one.
Here's a shot from another angle that may help.

I don't have any more pictures, so I'll point out something in the last one. Just above the guard rail
at the far right of the photo one can see Hunter's Point. That should narrow the search a little.
Also, keep in mind that this tag has something in common with the last one (besides the antennas).

All right, I'll crib from QuipMC's last clue to help you folks with what the two tags have in common.

If one looks toward the bay, this spot overlooks the Cow Palace and Candlestick.
From the other side of the road, one can see the bustling city of Colma.

I'm running out of clues here, guys. Somebody please pick up this one.
Before you get to the road where this tag is located, you must take a
road named for the patroness of the Americas.

I know where this is...have known from the start. It's a matter of getting up there. Every day I've looked there's been a big cloud sitting on top of it.

I was just lucky, then, I guess. This location came up when I was searching for the last tag and I thought
it would be fun to have a connection between one tag and the next, so I stopped on the way into SF after
picking the last one up. It was chilly and windy but clear.

I figured since I didn't get a pic up in a timely manner after my last win, i thought I should find the next one too.

I actually was too busy like most to go do the ride, but was it ever worth it!
There are flowers of every color in bloom, it was super windy with clouds blowing by us faster than we could speed up the city limits twisties. Berries are blooming as well as poison oak when I ventured off the pavement.

Since my last scooter tag pic for posting was disassembled, I need to get a new one.

I'll post by the end of AmeriVespa, if that's okay.

Great work! This was at the end of Radio Road in Brisbane. When I searched for Radio Rd. for the last tag,
this one actually came up first, so I thought it might be fun to make the next tag the same street.

Well...I was very busy at AV along with my fellow campers- offloading the camping gear truck, chasing raccoons at night, working a bit ,having fun and riding during the day, then the whole camping aftermath...no pics: (

AmeriVespa was so much fun!

I will be breaking in my new SYM HD 200 around this week ( thanks AV! ) so should find a beautiful odd place to photo for tag.

This weekend is the So Far So Good III Rally in San Francisco.

We are having a Poker run/ Scooter Tag/ Treasure Hunt Ride leaving from the Dainese store at 11 AM.

Because I think I know where that heart is

It is in San Francisco.
It is on a pretty busy street.
The SFSG rally Poker Run/ Scavenger Hunt/ Scooter Tag went by it.
That ride started in the SOMA by the Mission, went by Golden Gate Park, The Marina & Fisherman's Wharf.

It is not in Hunters Point, the Design Center, Nob Hill, at the Metreon, SF Vespa, San Francisco Scooter Centre or First Kick. It is not on Treasure Island. It is not on Radio Road or Twin Peaks. It is not at an art gallery or a church.
It is not at a bar but nearby.
It is an Unlikely place for art...kinda like the Gandhi bronze at the Embarcadero.

The Scooter Tag patch is way cool. It's in the mail to the person who extends the effort to tag the spot.


I can mail you the game board if you want the path to the prize!

Someone needs to win this great & well deserved patch...

Hmmmm.... Ritch started this thread. His rules are on page one with " Must take a picture of your scooter with the tag", not a picture of your scooter with the tag... or something similar. Tag is about riding your scooter : )

I think you gotta ride your scoot there.
Others have tried to photoshop the tag and gotten flack from the MVer's.

You can always rent or borrow a scoot for the pic.
The street cred is worth it for sure. I'm pretty sure.

I won the last two...does anyone ride anymore?

OK I scoured Fulton asked people searched on the internet all to no avail. In asking people on the the street I was pointed in the direction of Fell and Octavia only to fail again. This is the most hidden sculpture in SF. I cannot wait to see where it turns out to be. Sadly I wont have time to get back into the city for a few more weeks. Someone please go get this tag!
