Modern Vespa

So I had the local scooter shop put on some new tires for my 2009 BV 250 Tourer.

I rode it home last night. Today, it inspect the work and the rims are all scratched up and the rear is flat. Trying to build a game plan for tomorrow morning. It's a very sad day for my pristine ( at least it was two days ago ) ride.

Thoughts?

call the scooter shop and have them make it right. most shops i have ever worked with use plastic rim savers when changing tires, that way painted wheels dont get scratched, as far as the flat, the rear tire may not be sealed on the bead.

I would expect them to come get your bike, their expense, if the tire the worked on went flat right away. Call the shop owner and keep your anger in check. Logical, good customer standpoint can get results.

Obviously you didn't pay them enough money to change the tyre.

Due to the rear flat give them a call & ask them to fix it. I doubt you're going to get satisfaction on the rim damage (shop owner will tell you they came in that way), but can tell them they're A-holes on the way out. Then find another shop.
