Modern Vespa

Hello, I'm a newbie. I just got my LX50 6 days ago, and have been riding it around having a great time.
I don't know anything about maintenance, MPG, etc. This was a used Vespa and has no owner's manual. It was given to me as a surprise.
I don't even know anything about the engine!
Does anyone know where I could find a guide to this scooter?

Aloha and welcome to the forum from Hawaii. I grew up in Canaan NY and went to New Lebanon. My dad worked for GE in Pittsfield. Went to K and first grade in the school across from Clapp park in Pittsfield (now condos). Moved to Canaan in '61. Love the Berkshires. FLY lives in your hood. I lived in Cheshire before i moved here for a few years. Have a friend who still live there and ,while i haven't been back in 2yrs years i used to go back every year for a visit. Got a pic of your scooter? We love pics. How does the 50 do with all the mountains there?

Ah, you do know my neighborhood well! The 50 suprisingly does ok with all the hills, it handles them well, just....slowly I am really enjoying taking rides out in the hills on the 50.

50's are fun. Life should be seen,not zoomed by. 50 is the best way to see everything I do miss the summers in the Berkshires tho. Haven't been back to visit in a few years. Fav thing to do is bring a picnic to Tanglewood and going to the Red Lion Inn and sitting in front of their huge fireplace in winter. Foods not to shabby also. 8) Got any pics of it?

It's actually just a silver color; what is making for that nice warm tone is the reflection of the wood stacked in the garage!
