Does anyone know if the front shock lower eyelet mount hole in a GS 160 front shock has varying inside diameters?

I found an NOS replacement front shock and had it ready to install when low and 'beholed' the metal rod/pin that slides through the front hub would not go through the new shock eyelet. The inside diameter of the eyelet is smaller that the one I have on the bike now. I am certain that the front hub, shock, and mounting pin on the bike now are original and have not been messed with. Are there two different sizes? Or has the person I bought this shock from installed the wrong eyelet insert? It looks like it's factory original.

I figured it out. There was burr of metal on the eyelet where it had been either bumped or dropped. At first it just looked smaller for some reason. After it with the same sized drill bit, it fits fine. Initially I thought it was unlikely there are two sizes. Anyway, case closed.
