Anyone know who made the Saddle Bags and mounting hardware.
It looks like Piaggio, I guess not available in the US unless ordered from across the Pond.

According to my information, it seems that it is manufactured under license by SHAD, but I'am not sure...
anyway in Europe we can't find it outside the Piaggio network.... |

I liked the mounting brackets the best I could see in the video. If anyone knows where I can buy, please post a link. I checked easyparts.nl and not listed. I guess Piaggio is showing off something that's not available yet? I don't care much for the Top Case, but I like the other. Keith, Marietta, GA |

Crazy Expensive. I sent message to UK Dealer that has listing on ebay, but no shipping to the US. I sent message to easyparts.nl who know me, so we will see how they respond. I have been searching for New Piaggio Accessory Catalog that has them listed for Part Numbers. No Luck... Thanks, Keith |

Looking where the Foot Pegs come out, the Rear Rider would have the Bags under their legs, but just guessing. I exchanged emails with Vespa Marietta, and he shows the part numbers available with no inventory in the US. He assumes if ordered, Piaggio would bring them in and they could be here in about 3 to 4 weeks. Email: The Pannier-case Piaggio Ref. : 1B002032 $460 Installation Kit Pannier-case : 1B002049 $380 Part numbers are in the system, no inventory here yet in the USA but they can be ordered from Italy. Maybe if the both of us hit him up, he would drop the Price? Message me on FB if you want to approach him on this. Keith Marietta, GA |

Those look hot. So clean and a very nice look to them. Quite pricey but well worth it for some professional looking panniers. Sure beats the Velcro jobs that pass under the seat and stuff. Also looks more professional than the Fehling kit, as i don't care for the way the mounting hardware looks without the cases. Don't need to ride with the cases all the time, although i would like to see Piaggio's mounting system and how it looks without the cases.

When I read it fits "All MP3's" that got me excited about buying a mounting kit for the MP3/250 and use on either bike. |

you mean the ebay links?
If you do buy them, let us know if they fit your 250. At least you have the new 500, so they will fit that for sure. Will be icing on the cake if it fits your 250 too. By the way, i have not forgotten about the LV GT, just no time. |

Whaou.......
Slowly my friend !! As new200guy said the new 500 are very different than the older !! The kit don't fit to the 250 without big modifications.. When he says "all MP3" it seems to explain that the new european 300 and 500 have the same body... |

When he says "all MP3" it seems to explain that the new european 300 and 500 have the same body... I think it was inferring the current models of the same body style. The bike in the Video is a MP3/300, and the MP3/500 has same body style. The Dealer in the UK that has them listed on Ebay has MP3/500, won't reply to my inquiries. I emailed them a few times, I guess they don't want to be bothered? I convinced easyparts.nl to sell them to me. They can get them from Piaggio in a few days. I am waiting for them to quote me the Shipping to the US, then I will see how the Euro converts to US Dollars. Right now Euro since "Brexit" is Lower. It looks to be a lot cheaper then purchase from my Local US Dealer who says they have the part number listed you gave me. But; No Inventory in the US, so they would take my Money and I would wait... wait... wait... for something that might not ship for months, or not ship at all. Keith, Marietta, GA |

I placed my order today.
Here are some pictures that Easyparts.nl sent me of the rack. I sure like White MP3's, wish they shipped those to the US. I was hung up on what it would look like when the Bags were not mounted. I really like the Black Color. Easyparts.nl contacted Piaggio and they sent them these pictures, and they forwarded them to me. If your curious about the price, you will have to PM me if you really want to know. Keith, Marietta, GA

Ok, my friends outside of the US...
Do you know anyone who has these? I am just curious where are the mounting points for the rack that holds the cases. Piaggio was nice enough to send these pictures to show what they look like with no cases on them. I think they look "Hot" ! Plus I could always have them chromed easily if I wanted too, but I really like the black on gray anyway. Keith Marietta, GA |

to be honest, i have yet to see the new MP3 on the streets. Mostly see the older models. Being around the stuttgart area, there is a dealer here that does my services and he does not sell that many MP3's. Mostly the X10 and classic vespa's. I would like to see these in person, because they do look good. With that mounting system, it is clean. Does not look out of place like the Fehling kit.

I had not mentioned this on MV, but on the Facebook MP3 Site... I took pictures at Amerivespa in Memphis a few weeks ago. About 800+ Bikes, I took pictures of all the MP3's, and there were about 8 of us. We stood out, and got the typical inquiries that you normally get when you stop to get Gas. Well, I guess I will be the first one to get one then. I have a friend here who is in Atlanta, he is considering ordering one as well. Hey man, time to take apart that Exhaust ! (Take Pictures) Thanks, Keith, Marietta, GA |

My Side Cases have Arrived...
Shipped from Easyparts.nl on Wednesday, and it arrived today Friday. A very Large Box... The installation is a little involved, but I was glad to see Piaggio provided a set of Pre-Drilled black side panels that replaced the existing ones that are just in front of the Rear Tail Lights. I don't like "Drilling", so you can not screw this up. This provides the hole on each side for the Top Mounting Screw to go through to the new hardware that you install underneath. It looks like I will be working on this on the weekend, since its supposed to Rain. This will also give me an opportunity to connect up the BackOff-XP Module so I can get my Rear Tail Lights to Blink. I will bring the manual to my office on Monday, its about 15 pages in different languages and try and scan to a PDF. That way this can be added to the Library of Documentation here. Installation Photos's.
It took me about 4 hours to take the bike apart, and put it back together again. I had two screws left that drove me crazy where I left them out, and then I realized where they needed to go. I will upload the installation documentation on Monday. If you have any question, let me know. I will do my best to answer them. Keith, Marietta, GA
These metal brackets go over two of the tubing frame. On the Exhaust side you have to relocate some of the wire harness so this addition does not crush the wiring or the white connectors.
This part of the bracket connects to the Foot-pegs. Piaggio provides longer screws to replace the ones that came with the bike. You will screw the Foot-pegs over the top of this metal welded bracket.
Top View looking down from the Seat with the Mounting bracket mounted to test the fit.
Rear View just hand tight right now, getting body panels ready to go back on.
When removing the stock black ABS Panel and replacing with the ones provided. You now have a hole for the top of the mounting bracket to bolt too. I am impressed in how strong these mounting brackets are, I feel if you were to drop your bike, they would
Exhaust side, bike back together.
Rear View with Cases.
Exhaust Side with Cases mounted. It takes like 30 second to put them on and take them off.
View with Foot Peg down, so the Cases don't look to interfere if you are riding double.
