Looks like I need to replace a faulty turn signal switch assembly including the wiring leading from the handlebar to the panel behind the speedo. The panel does not seem to be attached by screws...so how to open...?

Many thanks ..!

There are two screws but they're not easy to see. Go to the front of the scooter and look directly up from the Piaggio emblem to the bottom of the gauge housing. There are two holes there and a screw in each one. They're a bit deep in the holes. Unscrew those two screws and the rest of the housing is held together with a plastic clip on the back that mates the top and bottom together. It can be a bit of a pain separating the halves and you don't want to break the clip so be careful.
