I saw a thread here that said a Yamaha exhaust gasket was a crossover for the exhaust gasket on my 2010 Vespa exhast.
Does anyone know which part # as there are many that are "look a likes" to the 38.5 OD x 32 ID x 33mm long OE gasket, thanks in advance!
meanwhile I'll try to find the link here...

I had some time to look just now and found the "Yamaha gasket" thread easily enough. Rather than repeat whats been said too many times, I'll just order one of them (3YF-14714-00-00 or 1JK-14714-00-00 or many other Yamaha part#'s, thanks!

I just changed mine. I found the three bolts holding the exhaust were too tight for me to remove with my Makita impact driver. I heated them up for about 30 seconds with a propane torch. They easily came out after that. Also, see Scooterwest's youtube video for replacing the exhaust gasket if you haven't done it before. They also sell an pipe spreader to open own the exhaust pipe so you can fit the gasket in easily. Robot shows its use in the video. ts $20. Many others have done without it tho.

I had my bushing blow out completely on my way home from Amerivespa last week, so I have been doing some research on this as well.

The Yamaha Part Number is 3YF-14714-00

Need help with graphite exhaust bushing

The inner diameter and outer diameter of the Yamaha part is slightly smaller, so it may require a bit of fettling (sanding the inner diameter of the Yamaha gasket) to get it to fit just right.

I ordered 2 OEM gaskets from Scooterwest, came to $52 with shipping.

Is there any other options? I thought I saw an Aluminum gasket that would be a more permanent option.

Thanks Miguel, I own the tools from having been a wrencher when younger.
Ebays full of the Yamaha gaskets, I just thought I'd get one for whenever.
I also see a copper covered type gasket thats sold for Yamaha but also saw a reference to them being not as good due to less resilence than the graphite material. There's a good thread here-use "Yamaha Gasket" as your only words to search terms. It's all been said here before once I got into the meat of it.

Solid gaskets are potentially bad news for the exhaust manifold studs...

Just to expand on jim's, when I took the Bay Area tech Class, Rolf says the solid bushings that people have used are good for his business because they needed to come to him to repair the damage they cause. Says the thermal coefficient of expansion did not match the exhaust and/or the header pipe. His advice: stay with the graphite bushing.
