The pulp fiction topic got me thinking movies. Being a big fan of 60s & 70s trashy biker movies, I just noticed that all of my old favorite biker movies that I used to watch are gone, the wild angels, the glory stompers, hells angels on wheels, Electra glide in blue, the born losers, satans sadists. The list goes on and on. These were some historic B movies. If anybody's interested, call Netflix at 1 866 579-7172 and tell them we want our trash back! Great for late summer nite watching They seem to want input.

I'm close to cancelling Netflix anyway. I spend more time searching for decent movies than I do watching one. More quantity than quality these days.
It's never been as good as it was before they lost the Starz contract. |

I buy Netflix and my brother buys Amazon Prime.....we share passwords and it cost me less than a trip to any store.
Buy DVDs if you want. I have a bevy of them. It didn't happen by accident. What movie do you want to see? |

People have recommended a dozen movies I should watch, from Car Wash to Witness For The Prosecution. None of them was on Netflix.
We mostly watch murder mystery series: Wallender (both the English one and the Swedish one with close-captioning), Murdock, Morse, Poirot, etc. And Star Trek Enterprise (with the lovely Jolene Blalock). Oh, but Inspector Lewis is not there! Does the Netflix web site have a suggestion box? |

Oh, but Inspector Lewis is not there! Does the Netflix web site have a suggestion box? Netflix has certainly been inscrutable - putting it politely - in what they include and exclude. To be fair, all these outlets have to negotiate (and renegotiate) with studios and distributors for this stuff, and I'll bet the process is erratic as hell. |

We cut the cord over a year ago. I got into a justifiably self-righteous snit* over channels I watched being removed, often replaced with pap, increasing prices for hundreds of channels I had no interest in, and an endless parade of ED commercials.
At first, we missed a few cable-only shows we were fond of, but over time...We'll never go back. Besides the broadcast stations available with a small antenna, I have Chromecast and a Roku Device. I subscribe to Netflix (soon to go bye-bye), Hulu (which has become my go-to service, replacing Netflix), and Amazon Prime TV, which is really not worth it on it's own, but I have Amazon Prime anyway, so it's included. Point is, with a Roku, There are a lot of free movie stations with access to a lot of cheesy old movies, including old motorcycle oriented flicks. Some of the stations suck, but a lot are pretty good...and did I mention, free? *I did the same thing with Sirius/XM. Good stations were removed and replaced with redundant filler stations. When they took away Cinemagic, that was the last straw. ![]() |

Netflix rotates its streaming films to manage its cost. They have to pay for the movies they list. If it's not there now, it may reappear at a later date. Almost all streaming services do this. Amazon doesn't have to do this because they offer pay options.
Also, if you purchase a Roku, you can add a LOT of other movie channels and some of these may be available on one of the smaller channels. Check this one out... https://channelstore.roku.com/details/88310/bikers-babes-cycles-and-stunts If you don't have the Roku (which you should), here are some resources for you to use in your search. http://www.canistream.it/ http://instantwatcher.com/ https://www.justwatch.com/ |

Used to be you just walked across the room, switched on the TV, turned the dial to one of three channels, and happily watched whatever came on.

And, at the risk of zombifying this thread...
...I'm currently watching an episode of Lewis, "Down Among the Fearful", whose principal character/victim, besides apparently leading a double life, rides a Vespa PX (riding sans goggles or face shield, it appears). Smite me (virtually, please) if this has already been mentioned here.
