Removed the front hub for restoration and can´t figure out where o-rings go? There are 6 all together, 3 different kinds. Have tried to look at SIP:s pictures without any luck. In their pictures there seem to be less rings?! Any ideas?

After some thinking I assume the ones at right comes next to bearings. That´s quite clear.

The rings in middle goes with the shock? The rings far left are a mystery? Could they be outer rings if the right ones are inner?

The o-rings (#3) with the 'v' channel will sit on each side of the fork bearings.

The other o-rings (#1) will be between the front hub backplate axle and front swingarm bracket, it sits within the groove when you fit everything together.

The other o rings go to the front shock lower eyelets (#2)

Have a look at forum member Vader's thread on the smallie UK site:

http://vespasmallframeforum.proboards.com/thread/17764/v90-fork-link.com

*I might have mixed up the locations of #1 and #2 o-rings but you'll see what size fits when you re-assemble.

Did you put the large metal washers behind the link plate or inside of it? I've seen two different pictures showing both ways. In the Mark Paxton book, How to Restore Classic Smallframe Scooters, he shows the two large washers sandwiched between the fork and the the fork link and then the split washers and nuts are threaded on the pivot pins inside the fork link (page 66). On the Scooterhelp.com, the large washers, split washers, and nuts are all placed inside the fork link over the pivot pins. Vader's photo looks like it has the big washer between the fork and link cover, not inside the cover (which would be following the Paxon book). It's confusing. See the last photo in this link

You can see the big washer on the picture. It is outside. The split one is inside. I think that is correct? That´s the way it was and I don´t think it has ever been taken apart before?
You can also see the small washer which is on the other axle outside the case like the big one.

Yes, I see that. The Scooterhelp site is the only source where I've seen the large washers on the inside of the link cover. Maybe it's just wrong or its model specific.

One other thing. When you pressed the caged needle bearings into both sides of the fork pivot hole, are they flush with the edge of the fork or do they go in a bit below the edge?

Got lazy and didn´t replace the needle bearings... They seemed fine and the Vespa has only been driven some 5000+ km.
In my opinion the bearings should go in a bit. That´s where the grooved o-ring goes.
