Aha! I have heard of this sculpture before from my boss who used to work for Scripps. It looks more like a giant turd than I had even imagined!

This tag is starting to stink. ...Like a big turd.

I broke scooter tag

naahhh it craps out now and then. I guess San Diego scooter tag is kind of like a vintage scooter... it needs to be constantly used or it can start to falter.

A Great Tag is one that is a challenge.

Ok slackers - I'll be picking this tag up today...so that is plenty of warning in case you wanna come out of your cave(s) and snatch it out from under my nose!!!

I've been trying to figure out where that turd is, no clue so have at it.

Alright steelcap - this is one ELUSIVE giant turd. The Scripps website has not been updated since the turd was moved...so I had to do quite a bit of turd-hunting to get it!

I asked these ladies who were out for their afternoon walk if they knew where the giant turd was, and one lady tells me that it was moved.... and that she always thought it looked like a diesesed penis. She had this look in her eye like she had always wanted to say that to SOMEONE....

I asked a parking lot guy if he knew where a sculpture that looks like a giant turd was, and he in turn asks me "What color is it?". Um, dude, it's turd colored.

Thanks for the wonderful excuse to get out of the office and remind me that phototag is SUPPOSED to be an adventure!

If you enter the exact words on the plaque photo I posted into Google and tell it you feel lucky you'd have got the location right away.

But I guess it's more fun asking people if they know where the giant turd is.

I have a long weekend coming up, so I'm looking forward to the next tag.

Maybe this will light a FIRE under your ass!

It's a beautiful ride along PCH for you "metro" folk to get to this tag. If it helps you can imagine you're riding along the south coast of England on your way to Brighton. Just the kind of fun riding scooter were meant to do.

maybe we should get a group ride started Saturday or Sunday... or even Monday. but, who'd get to steal the tag? hmmmm who cares.
