I concur with let it simmer.... someone has to be frustrated enough soon to go get it!! I think it's about 8 blocks from my house, even. Just had no time lately during daylight.

Heritage Park in Old Town.

Since we are playing "Historic Real Estate Tag" Here is a tough one.

This house was built and owned by a very famous Boxer from San Diego.

The house is currently rented to a Notorious San Diego Institution.

That was a good one. Talk about hard to find..I knew where it was but how 2 get to it. I'm going 2 stay for a party they are havin.. But I won't stay long after they see me naked.. :nerd:Buy the way..His swimming pool is shaped like a what?

The House Belongs to, or Belonged to, Champion Boxer Archie Moore.
The House is visible on the right as you transition from east 94 to south 15.

From the Costco parking lot across Hwy 15, you can get a long shot of the pool shaped like a Boxing Glove.

It looks like Thad Poppel is using the sprawling Archie Moore property for his Naked Swinger Parties.
Thad Poppel is San Diego's own Larry Flynt.

Further Trivia: Abbot & Costello House?

And it's not in Kansas City..

Poor old Archie Moore... that house was his dream home. How did Poppel end up with the place for his deviant activities?

The place reminded me of a haunted place like in Old Town.It was open but nobody home..I did see Archie hanging out in front of Mekon Billards on University Ave a while back in my travels..

I used to deliver RX's to that house about 10 years ago.
The front entry-way has a large mosaic of Archie Moore himself.

The Thad Poppel "Party Naked At Thad's" sign was a total surprise.

Good Place for them though - Hidden in the slums, on a dead-end street, surrounded by warehouses.
