Marine corps recruit depot. Washington street at Pacific Highway. I had taken a picture at the railroad tracks, but lost it.

You can see the moonlight during the day from here. For a nice surprise look in the neighbors store, on west wall.

The place where the 55 gallon drum barrels is having a event this weekend. They will be removing barrels and repainting. Local street artists and the public can join in. I might go and try.

So, i think I know where I can see 'Moonlight' during the daytime, especially since I saw you last weekend scooting on PCH in north county

I'm curious if the barrels are still in place, since your last comment hints they might not be there tomorrow

The barrels got reinstalled on tuesday. I did the top middle. Part of the top is a used Vespa tire.

I rode up the coast on Monday, and saw the new barrels.

This time i poked my head in the Rhino Art shop to see a vintage 2-stroke Vespa mounted to the wall inside the shop! Pretty nifty.

The espresso machiato I had next door at Lofty Coffee was prettty much perfect. Worth a trip is one is in Encinitas.

What, no scooterists going to, through or near Encinitas?

I searched Coronado and Mission Beach, and a few other beaches, coming up short.

With the short daylight hours, many of us left playing squeeze tag searches in on the weekends, but I've got the next week off work to go find it!

maybe you can see it by the "moonlight". too far for my old P on the fwy.

Had to bump this. I lived in San Diego from '84 - '94. It's still my favorite city, and I head down there whenever I can. Gelato Vero is still my all time favorite coffee house, and the best gelato in Southern California, bar none, including L.A. and Santa Barbera!

This thread made me homesick for San Diego!!!!

Finally got up to Moonlight Beach in Encintas. What a great day at the beach in February.
