As a once regular here I say hello again, and thinkI will be around
a bit more.
Yesterday sold my Mana, and am back to just MP3 500 and Vespa GTS 250.
Have gone through as many related postings this morning as I can stand but have not found the answer I sm looking for.
Bad Rob, but through sheer laziness I let the fluid in the tilt lock
run low because checking it meant taking the 500s plastic off.
So, as it should, it blared my really loud aftermarket horn.
After refilling it continues to blare.
I went back in to see if the fluid had leaked out but fluid still there.
My guess is by getting low ( empty really) I may have screwedup the sensor. Maybe need to have it replaced.
On my other 500 we had a similar scenario and finally just gave up and disconnected the sensor, so I am a little reluctant to go down that path again of replacing things to no avail.
If anyone has had this same issue and found any fixes, from having let the fluid get low, would love to hear it.
Bike is fine if you do not engage the wheel lock but I miss the locking wheels part of having an Mp3.

I don't think the sensor is screwed up, you probably have an air bubble in the system if the reservoir was empty. Try just cycling the tilt lock on and off a few times just on the center stand. if this doesn't help you will have to bleed the lines.

Have done the first suggestion.
Thought it was fixed. Then on test ride and behind people waiting at a light---horn starts blasting--very embarassing.
Not sure how to bleed the lines.
If its way simple I might do it.
Or take it in otherwise.

Luckily, it started behaving again.
Still do not trust it, so will try not to lock it at lights with cars in front.
if it keeps behaving ok I will go back to doing it.
Its a reflex to turn the lock on though . I do it before I realize I shouldn't.
I have to say, the tilt lock is prehaps the best feature of the whole bike.
