I'm afraid we will soon see ads on TV from law firms asking,"Have you been injured playing Pokémon Go?"

Available...almost
Yesterday the Go was officially released in Finland, but the servers could not handle the load...
There have been a lot of Gos around and I've been explained why: e.g. in Appstore you can cheat a bit, by changing your default nationality and creating fake contact details....so they have the US version. it's criminal of course, but youngsters think that it's "not so criminal" when we are talking about free software. I'll propably will try Go myself - both for professional reasons and to follow-up the younger generation in the family...and you never know, it might be fun! |

my ten cents - I think the developers of Go really hit a nerve, based on how increasingly popular "geocaching" have become. I honestly know families, who have arranged their holidays around going through interesting geocaching places. Social aspect as well as comparing achievements with unknown people are essential there too.
So, imagine this combined with the easiness of virtual world, ready platform for social sharing plus a connection to all ready existing world of Pocemons...not a bad move at all. |

I leave my house 15 minutes early in the wee hours of the morning (4am) and can hit 10 Pokestops (pulling over, of course) before I have to head to work. Then in the afternoons The Child (14 years old) and I will go on what we call Pokewalks where we hit all the Pokestops within walking distance of the house. We can't take hubby because he doesn't play and gets annoyed at us stopping to catch Pokemons.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but I felt the need to share the following:
I work next door to Vespa Dallas, and they have both a Pokestop and a Gym at their location. I regularly take over the gym. Lately it dawned on me that I've been putting the wrong Pokemon in the gym. I finally got it right: ![]() |
