Picked up the scoot today after having an exhaust installed and noticed the rear wheel is not spinning during idle. It drives fine, clutch engages and it takes off well. I just noticed ,however this could have been happening since I installed the Malossi Delta clutch last time I was in the transmission case. Is there any concern I should have with this? The brake is not engaged at all also. Could this be due to a really loose belt?
When I give it an assisted push it will spin for a minute, and then it'll act like it just can't quite get over that apex, and it will just stop.
Thanks -Cole

The rear wheel on my BV350 doesn't turn either. Don't worry about it.

When you start losing top end speed is the time to worry.
Ride on.

The rear wheel should not spin during idle on the centre stand. Your bike is normal.

good looking out. It just always did spin at the proper low rate before, and now its either not spinning at all, or barely barely spinning. just wanted to be sure thanks

A strong spinning rear wheel at idle is sign your clutch springs need replaced.
