I'm rebuilding my dad's vespa he gave to me as a gift after 31 years he almost never rode it. We have never taken the motor apart to service so I plan to buy a lot of parts to refresh. Also wanted to take this opportunity to upgrade it. I think I'm gonna go with a Pinasco 177 6 port in aluminum63 x 57, I picked a seriepro flowed race crank 57mm 105 it's timing is 138/6 past tdc, sip road 2.0 exhaust, and si 26/26 Carb. I'm reusing the original case as it is immaculate, bike has 1800 miles on it. After doing a search on here I found lots of helpful information about timing, and porting and jetting. Although I didn't find an exact recomendation I was able to guestamate this jetting to start with and wanted anyone's opinion on it. 135 main jet, be3, 50/120 (2.4), and timing is either 17 or 23 degrees not sure yet on that one. Case will be port matched to cylinder, and I will be lengthening the intake port in the case and opening the port for the carb. The original is si 20/20. I'm gonna keep adding to this thread as I put it back together, hopefully.[/img]
