Just had a chance to ride my new 2016 BV350 on my "personal test track". It's a 55 mile loop of 35 - 60+MPH road that twists and swoops and is great fun. It allows for low speed (YMMV) corner lean testing and gives a very good sense of what a 'bike is about. My 250 GTS can be easily pushed to the point where the front end gets wobbly and uncomfortable. The Buddy 170i displays its sporting nature with stable cornering and very adequate brakes and engine performance on the slower twisties. What a bike!
The BV is simply in another league from both other scoot's. This is exactly what I was looking for when it was purchased. It lays over comfortably and gives good feedback. The ABS brakes work well in a straight line and the combo of them and the chassis is confidence inspiring when used laid over in a corner.
With just under 300 miles on the clock, I'm looking forward to being able to move faster in a straight line and am happy with the corner speeds attained today. No more power required.
Before the ride I filled the fuel tank. Now that's a designed-in problem! Next fill, I'll try using the kickstand as suggested here to see if that eliminated the "burp" that pushed fuel out the filler neck after filling...
One issue for the dealer to fix: There's a shaking when leaned over at ~10+ degrees at the frequency of wheel rotation. Maybe one or both Serbian Michelins have flat spots(?).
