Well, yeah. I will need to try and video the kickstart fuel cannon before anything else, though.

I loathe love doing full fuel system RnRs! Besides, then I can answer the question of whether or not it has a DellOrto PHVA or a Gurtner carb.

Wowza! Sorry to see it, dude. I saw in the news that 900k were without power, but that's a lot worse than sweating in the dark.

It's going to slow down the ham bets for a bit, too.

Dream Achieved?

We caught another small rainstorm, and the wife mentioned I might need to bring my Vespas inside because of the hole in the roof… (This is why I married her, of course.)

Drywall ceiling in the garage collapsed about 10 minutes later. (ET3 is still safe for now.)
This, this is what we've been waiting for.

You definitely dodged a bullet there. It could have been a whole lot worse. Looks like the tree was rotting out quite a bit in the core?

I've been cutting a LOT of wood this past late winter though late spring. I'd come over and make it disappear, but i'm located thousands of miles away (NW oregon) from you.

A few weeks ago I...

Was at a friends place amd they had got themselves a CRICUT transfer cutter thingee & asked if there was any picture that I wanted to make into a sticker/transfer. That got me thinkin and i decided to go all-out for my first attempt I went for a 2-colour transfer of a drawing from a good friend who passed away a few years ago... here are the results, which will go on the Italjet Formula 125 which I inherited from him.

I put it so the arrow was pointing in direction of rotation. Past that I didn't worry about it. Until now.

I'll go check, but I'm pretty sure I'm good.

I'd definitely run that the other way around. Modern fronts run reverse.

So why would they put the arrow on if you're supposed to run it the opposite way?

The ply in the tyre is arranged to be strongest in one direction. The front is mostly stopping force.

I get how it's made to be fitted in one direction only, no argument there. My question is why would they mould the direction arrow into the tyre and expect users to fit it in the opposite direction? That doesn't make sense. I think if CM has fitted it with the arrow in the normal direction of rotation he can't really go wrong.

The arrows I have seen are double-ended and are labeled 'front' and 'rear'.

I've seen this before, too, including (I'm pretty sure) on a set of Heidenau's. This is just the one arrow, and I'm not going to claim that I know more about tires than the fine folks at Heidenau.

a clearly labeled tire will have either:
* An arrow AND say Front or Rear
* A double ended arrow with Front and Rear indicated (Zippy 1 had this)

if there is only one arrow AND it does not say front or rear, then that arrow is for the rear. If that tire is used on the front the direction should be reversed.

On some tires with a single arrow it's for the drive wheel. I've started mounting the front tire in reverse and notice better handling not getting stuck in the tracks on grooved highways.

a clearly labeled tire will have either:
* An arrow AND say Front or Rear
* A double ended arrow with Front and Rear indicated (Zippy 1 had this)

if there is only one arrow AND it does not say front or rear, then that arrow is for the rear. If that tire is used on the front the direction should be reversed.
I believe you, but that is the most asinine marking system imaginable other than one that is explicitly wrong. Implicit instructions are always a TERRIBLE idea.

I doubt that tire is coming off the rim without significant pain and suffering on both its and my parts, but since it's a Lammy can't I just flip the rim around, or will the rim holding nuts interfere with rotation?

This tire direction thing is one reason I want to put an Zip/LX/ET4 fork on the front of my smallframe.
