It's getting to the good time of the year to paint in a outside rig like that. Cool, dry, sunny days are the best!

I present to you the perfect 20 ft. Paint job!
Still learning, but making progress. 1 bug and a couple of intern hairs in the paint, could be worse. But no runs and minimal dry spots.

Trying to make sun tea without looking like a drug lab.
Start with a half-key of Azerbaijani loose leaf.
Measure 20 grams of tea for 1.5L of filtered water.
Let the Arizona sun do it's thing.
After 3.5 hours, decant, pour over ice, add a lemon and enjoy.

So after my two steps forward (successful rally ride route plan, Riverside painting completion), I had a bit of a step back...went to go to the grocery store and realized there was Riverside blue overspray on the car.
So I spent a couple hours cleaning that off. I'd say I got 95% of it using acetone and microfiber cloths, which may have to be good enough. Not my best move. |

Doing a buddy a solid. He was having trouble finding anyone to reassemble his CB160 engine.
Clean parts and inventory the bits first.
Block, gasket set and some covers.
Ridiculous little crank.
Cylinders, pistons and head.

At my job (hospital) I spotted a rolling cabinet in the basement that was waiting for the dumpster truck...
![]() The top is covered in small residues of sticky plaster that has eaten the plastic surface ! Plus a lot of acetone drops through the years of service... A drawer is stuck. No keys for the lock Took the thing apart, all panels are riveted, no screw, very solid construction. ![]() ![]() Fixed the issue with the drawer, sanded the top then applied 2 coats of 2k Raptor liner, et voila ! A brand (almost) new tool cabinet ! ![]() Also installed a new lock
