A friend dropped this PK 150 off yesterday for me to clean the fuel system and take care of a few minor things. He picked t up a few years ago for a song from a local widow who's husband had put 595 miles on it and my friend barely rode it after he got it.
That is oil leaking on the floor from a probably cracked sight glass . Man, is this thing heavy!

Finishing with friend's T5 (look at that top bearing) and although not today, I found me one more NOS Buzzetti foldable smallframe kickstart (later type with rubber pad)...

More dumberer than usual for me today. I had to scoot into work for a fundraiser. Went well. The head and taillight bulbs are blown but that's ok because I had planned to sneak out at 4pm to make up for a ton of OT. I'm writing up reports at 7:24, oh shit, sunset was at 7:22 siri tells me. Ride home at dusk in the rain with no lights.
The bulbs just moved further up my to do list.

Sweet - some nice details on there Safis.
Today - or a couple of days ago anyway - I... lost my mind down a rabbit hole and ended up purchasing this for my new (to me) shop. My entire allowance from the year 1980 went into one of these. Was my fave machine of all time. One of the first multi ball. How could I say no? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Seals are fitted in the Minarelli.
Question is, should just build it and run it, or have the rotating assembly balanced and then look at cylinder porting? Frame isn't ready for powdercoat yet, much less dry build, so time isn't an issue here. Besides, I got banished to Queens next week.
Forty bucks.
Fitted and ready for assembly.

Firepower is a good one.
Pinbot and Earthshaker were the two I spent most of my pinball quarters on. I got to the point I could put a quarter into Earthshaker then play all day and leave with credits still on the machine. Oh, to have so much waste-able time again... |

I got this in non-working condition for a good price, and got it working fine. It even came with an electrical schematic, which helped greatly.
According to what I see on Ebay, it's worth over twice what I paid for it. I'm starting to look for a buyer, since my interests have changed, and we need the room it's taking up. (It's from 1966.)

Today I...
Got the tools and gear to add passenger foot pegs to the Supper Club. Weirdly they do not come stock on US market Hondas? Hmmmph. To mount the foot pegs you have to drill into the solid steal frame extension to the real wheel. Got all the tools together. -Center punch -Drill & Bit -8 x 125 Tap ... and then stared at it... found some other garage stuff to do.... and then packed everything back up. Hard to bring myself to drill into (and possibly screwdgie up) a clean frame. Fffff. Fear of failure won the round. But, I will be back for another attempt. |

If ur really nervous, start with drill bit half desired size. Get some cutting oil. Ace has it. Small can. Squirt into bottle cap. Drill in short stints a few seconds, dipping and re dipping drill tip in oil. Wipe away, or have a shop vac, the shrapnel. Slow your drill speed down by shifting it into slower setting if u have. U really want to be around 350-400 rpm on 10 mm hole (guessing size). Download this bad ass app and set it to 400 and check what kinda speeding ticket your drill bit deserves. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/video-tachometer/id1492583587 The oil will double your cutting speed and avoid dulling nice new bits you ARE going to use. Is this sheet metal? Need more meat to tap? Or is this steel with some thickness? |

Do those jeans make my ass look far?
Socal pressed me to get out while the getting was good - and it was spectacular. 72 and sunny. Coastal ride. Yellow back in the game - mile passed me a few times! 🙂 We rode past the rocks and cliffs at crystal cove, and then Mike, in true siren form, convinced me that we should probably have some of these while we wait for our breakfast to be served. Good times had.
Note the puppy uppers with the doggy downers. Anyone name the quote? 🙂
