I bought some (what I thought were) p-series cowls, prepped and painted, went to install and I am missing the mounting tab that engages the latch, apparently they are px cowls, is there an easier way to attach without welding and screwing up the paint? is jb-weld an option, to attach new ones I can fab? I don't want then coming off at 50 mph.

Unfortunately welding. Techno weld would work - but you have to heat up

Just cut a little piece of flat steel, drill it and bolt it.

That's a good idea. Just make to use a nyloc so it doesn't vibrate loose

LML still makes repro cowls with the tabs, too.
