Just looking at the two photos, in the top picture the short portion of the arm is furthest from the cover, while in the second photo it is nearest. might be worth a double check?

I think it's just different years, different styles. Notice the bottom arm has a jog offsetting the cable location to compensate.

I guess having the brass plunger in or out in the photos also changes the arms angle. It's still not together, I'll pull the plunger and check it out again.

Edit: Ok, It's right. I checked an older photograph I had taken.
