No, that's not why.

You must be thinking of scooters that typically have some 'mismatched' parts, a generous layer of bondo here and there and a sketchy motor that may or may not go 1209 km before something unpleasant happens. Doesn't appear to be the case here, more like the opposite and if this project were done in the USA or England or Germany or even Japan, I think even you might possibly join in w/ the compliments because this guy did some nice work here and looks like he spared no expense. Yeah, I know it's not 'supposed' to have a glovebox, but they are very practical so call it an accessory like the chrome trim is. Of course I'm just guessing, maybe it's crap under that lovely paint. Great color regardless, wouldn't you agree?

Bodge? What are you on about? That's a beautiful restoration and reworking to exactly what the owner wanted. I think it looks great and is a massive improvement on what it was. He's obviously highly skilled. He's paid his money, made his choice and done the work himself. I've nothing but admiration and respect for him.
