Hey there

Looking for some opinions

I currently have an Avio Grey 2007 GTV with low mileage, and have an opportunity to switch it out for a mint condition 07 GT60 with slightly lower mileage. Im a huge fan of the colour of the GT60.

Also, my scooter was dropped and repaired a few years ago, and tbh has never really felt the same

All in all it would cost me about $800 for the swap.

Is it worth doing in your opinion? I believe the difference is strictly cosmetic.

I'd probably do it too if the scooter really appealed to me. The difference is really only cosmetic, but that may be enough - especially if YOU feel good about it.

As long as it's not a financial strain, go for it. It's what you want. You only live once!!!

Well the GT60 is a fairly rare scooter and would definitely be a conversation piece.

Nothing beats the GT60 grey, IMHO.

GTV to GT60? Is it worth it?
Thought Id follow up here. I ended doing the swap. The bike is mint....seat a little faded, but Ill probably have it reupholstered.

Im had it tuned up, and it needed some fresh gas. I think it also makes sense to put some new rubber on it. These tires are 9 years old. It only has 1800 km on it.

All in all, it probably cost me about $1000 to do the swap including the tune up and new tires.

Try some conditioner/restorer on the seat and you may be surprised how much better it looks. I'd try that before recovering. Enjoy your new to you scooter.

I wouldn't count the new rubber in the acquisition cost since that's an ongoing maintenance item anyway.

Sweet and thanks for posting a pic. Forgot how beautiful they are. I run Heidenau tires on mine. K62 (all weather on the rear) and a K 61 up front. We have red dirt which turns into slippery red mud after a good rain. The 62 gives me a bit more traction. I get over 8,000 miles on the rear tire. Also throw some Malossi shocks on the front and rear and you'll be amazed at how it rides. Much better IMHO. Have fun with your new to you bike. 8)
