So my first post, Hello ,been lurking for a while.

So last time on a scooter was 1986 moved on to larger bikes of which i still ride. seeing that the PX would be coming to a an end this year and having already done the mid life crises thing a number of years ago (Quad Bike) decided while in local bike shop to purchase one . And after a wait of few weeks it turned up.
It certainly looked liked the last PX i owned so lets see, so after a certain amount of Piss taking from the wife and kids off i went first impression ,Shit this is slow, braking good ,new stock suspension not bad feel of it hey I'm feeling 18yrs old again, got to say had plenty of bikes but this is like the saying just like riding a push bike within 10 minutes back into the grove ,what a laugh and smile on my chops.

Right now lets try and make it even better , seems the Sito 2 is the pipe to have so picked up one 102 jet and a sip drilled filter and straight away complete different feel ticks over and no bogging with the 102 was gonna try a104 but know carbs can be like Pandoras box so left it with the 102, sits at 55mph which is as fast as i want to go on a scooter front and rear Bitubo adj shocks and the ride is nice .

ergonomics I'm 6,2 and have lived well so have an extra 50 round my belly but is not a problem so big and tall riders thinking of getting one take note.

conclusion Its a vespa it aint gonna go fast compared to the other bikes i ride don't mind that have the best of both worlds, fun factor out there by miles is a lot of fun does not take its self to serious very
Pros Fun easy going ride

Negs slow until loose the stock exhaust and cat minimum effort max gain shocks as well if you have the money

cheers

Welcome to MV.

Yeah, nothing beats a Vespa for shits and giggles.

As has been noted on MV in the past, the best performance mod is dropping some pounds. I've got enough to make a difference myself. Of course upgrading to a GTS makes weight loss less urgent. Nerd emoticon

As for size, I'm 6'7" and about 250# myself. My LX was (and is) still a blast.

yeah, PX150 are definitely slow. You can do a nice cylinder kit, carb, exhaust and adjust gearing and youll get some good power out of it.
