Alright, so I hate night riding on my Rally 180. I have the headlamp set up with the non sealed beam conversion kit from one of our fine suppliers.

I can't see a damn thing after dark. I am thinking of doing an led conversion for both the headlamp and the tail/brake light.

Google is getting me nowhere. Has some one done this?

I know everybody rags on 6v headlights, but honestly, they work fine if all the connections are good. Check all the wiring, starting at the stator. Look for frayed wires, loose or bad grounds, crimps coming apart, corroded switches, and bulbs that aren't making good contact in the bulb holders. You'll be surprised.

I have no idea if this would work in a 6V system, but I converted my Stella 2t, which is a 12V system to a LED headlight. I used a Genssi 5.75" DOT approved LED headlight and a 'cyclops rectifier' (brand name, google it) to convert the AC power the scoot puts out to the DC power the LED requires. Huge improvement over stock lighting.
