Hi,

I'm looking to buy a Vespa Madrid rack, I know there's a remake available but it's a little different from the original design (which I prefer)
If anyone has one for sale can you let me know.
It's to fit on a vespa rally.
If I can find a picture of the the i want I'll post it up,

Thanks
Trojac

You could try

TSR. The scooter republic.

The best of luck.

Be careful when ordering. Mounting points are different for US version vs. Euro (at least they were for my Rally 180). I have a euro sitting on shelf now.

1/2 way down the page
That's the only place I know of that sells them. Looks pretty close, but the bit behind the seat is more vertical.

I thought the remake was ok until I saw it on a scooter and it's quite a bit bigger and I think spoils the look.
I really want to hold out for an original one.[img][/img]

madrid rack
This dude has a bunch of them. He's in Spain as well, so I assume they're the real deal. These are just two on his listing, but he has several others.

That's a great find, not sure I like his prices, but I might contact him anyway. EUR185 euros with shipping is borderline extortion ( and I think it might be missing the little rubber feet to help it sit on the frame, but that's a question I need to ask)
Big thank you though

Anyone else who actually has one for sale in the UK who doesn't want me to trade in a limb to buy it please let me know

I know how you feel about the price, but let me tell you that the new reproductions are pretty poor. I had one that was from a UK producer named S_ _ _ _ _ _ _ a. It looked nice, but the springs constantly disengaged from their anchor points (making them useless). It looked exactly like the one on the white Vespa you posted above. I would guess that those springs won't last more than a year before they break. Old stuff rules.
