I've lurked a while and have decided to step out in the light. I picked up my 15 GTS a few weeks back and am enjoying it so far. I've been riding two wheels off an on for 4 decades having ridden BMW, Kawasaki, Ducati, triumph, and last Time round a Harley Ultra so quite a change up. Most of my riding is rural back roads. Planned changes are the turn signal/running light mod and top box but I think some kind of upgrade to the suspension might also be out there to allow better two up comfort. Anyway, cheers to all on this interesting forum!

Good looking scooter - and welcome to MV. I have also ridden all kinds of PTWs at one time or another, and my preferred ride is also a GTS on rural back roads.

I will be looking for some oportunities to meet up with others in the mid and va area. This was my preferred mode of travel for years then it seemed bikes and engines had to keep getting bigger and more powerful. Now I just want to tool the back roads and feel the breeze in a simpler way again.

That's a pretty sweet BMW mate. I'm not into hooning around at high speed. More fun riding the back roads, although I'm not adverse to freeways, they're quite boring!
