Modern Vespa

I recently crashed my old 150cc scooter and began the search for a replacement. I noticed a local shop had an MP3 400 and I fell in love. Once I decided that it was my only choice I began searching within 6 hours of Pittsburgh to see what other MP3s were around. I found this little monster 4.5 hours away and turned the trip into a weekend trip to New Jersey. I bought the bike in PA, rode it to and around NJ for two days, then rode it back to Pittsburgh. When it was all said and done I put just under 700 miles over the weekend. Now, had I read this forum beforehand, I probably wouldn't have done it this way, but it was quite an experience. Of course it wasn't all good times.... I stopped for dinner when I got home and the bike wouldn't start again for 2 weeks. Thankfully, it turned out to be just a relay but ended up replacing spark plugs and fuel pump in the process.

Now I'm off to find a windscreen.

Ahh... That brings back memories of when my MP3 was shiny.

I really like the look of that. Wish they were more prevalent here in Germany. The front just looks so mean.

With the Euro being so strong against the UK pound, you should buy one in the UK and pick up a bargain.

I get paid in dollars, but right now is not a bad time with the pound rate overall.
