Recently acquired a 2008 Vespa S150. With the help of this great forum I was able to gather info on how to proceed with the LED conversion. Here are the end results.

Simple to do really.

Purchase 1157 3-wire bulb sockets for the front. Along with 1157 switchback style LED bulbs. Eliminate stock pod indicators. Cut off existing bulb sockets on white running lights. Wire in the new 3 wire ones. (If you need details on how to just ask!) I used the Signal Dynamics Dual load equalizer. It is super simple to wire in and tucks in perfectly. Rear bulbs were PY21W amber replacement LEDs. I though I would need another load equalizer for the rear but I guess the PY21Ws draw enough current and the blinking is fine. I am attaching some photos and videos.

Update: Holes from old pod indicators fixed. For the small hole I used the color matched plugs from scooterwest. The bigger hole is just a plastic plug from Home Depot.

Also, how do I upload a video? Every time I try it tells me "no post mode selected"

You cannot post videos to MV. You have to post it on YouTube and then post the link or embed the video with a link.

What 1157 switchback bulbs did you use? I have the Scooterwest conversion for my GTS, but a bit disappointed in the light output of the running lights.

Yours look very bright.

Thanks
