Hi all, I'm thinking of getting a px125 and maybe upgrading the engine to a px200 one later when I get my full licence.. Is this possible?

This question would be better in the not so modern section of the forum. I'm sure an admin will move it for you. But that's where all the two stokes are at

Now for your question,

I'm pretty sure its a yes BUT there are cylinder kits available that would out perform the stock 200 engine. The stock 200 engine is still a little well, wet compared to the 4 stroke 125's/150's.

If you mean will a 200 engine fit in the frame? - Yes

Or if you mean can you convert a 125 engine to a 200? - No

If it's the latter, you'd probably be better upgrading with a Malossi 166 kit or something similar.

you can fit any large frame motor in any large frame. So yes if you find a good deal on a P200 motor you can throw it in. If not you can go with one of the 177 kits and do all the upgrades and get better than P200 performance.
And actually yes - BSG do make a 225 cylinder kit that fits 125/150. Its wild too. Not sure if it is available yet and its probably $$$.
