A new old electric scooter from the Czech Republic. It looks like an exciting project, if a little on expensive side.

It may be a good machine - but it is butt ugly. The designer must
have been locked in the rear trunk of a 1955 Buick for the last
60 years. The body design is so retro, I expected to see only
black and white photos of the machine.

They need a little Italian Design Flair. I try not to criticize. This
is apparently what happens to you when you are frozen in time in
the "Peoples Paradise".

I don't think this is a new "retro" body design. I think -- somebody correct me if I'm wrong -- this is the exact original Cezeta body from the '50s, ugly as it may be. Not a whole lot uglier, though, than many central and northern European scooters from that era.

Having owned a Honda Helix i could own another ugly scooter. They grow on you. It's sorta cute and i'd buy one but their never coming over here. The pics they have on that link are funny. Especially the one with the scooter being burned to death in a campfire. Laughing emoticon

I actually quite like it. Maybe not as a daily rider, but maybe for Sundays or to show off every now and again. Its got a sweet retro spaceship type look to it.

Cezeta
I like it, but it needs disc brakes. Looks like a ton of storage up front, and it would keep the front wheel down. But, I agree, too much money, but look at the Zero electric motorcycles, they are crazy high dollar.
