Hey guys,
I'm installing a new Dellorto 20/20 D carb into my PX that I have a Sito + & SIP road 2 for (going to run the Sito first, as it's what came on the bike).

The scooter was bought as a fixer-upper and hasn't run in 2 years. I'm in process of bolting stuff back on and wanted to double check these numbers for the jets (I got the carb from SIP).

The new carb came with:
160/BE3/100
48/160

Based on previous posts on this topic, I was planning on running:
160/BE3/102
55/160

My main question is should I keep the 48/160 idle in or do I need to upjet to 50/160 or 55/160? (I have both)

I went ahead and ordered the new carb because: I wanted a backup, it was cheap & I wanted to start fresh with European specs after reading about slide variations affecting mix on the US PX150s.

As always, I've learned so much from the wealth of info here. It's an awesome community.

Cheers

If the exhaust is the only mod to the engine, any of those idle/main combos ought to be fine. At a point it becomes a matter of trial and error. Start rich and see how it goes. I'm guessing you'll end up with the 48/160.

Thanks SoCal, I was thinking that was the safest route. I don't know how much the idle jet affects everything, but I didn't want to burn anything up

Manual says 48/160 for 20/20 carb with a 100 main jet. I have a P150x that is stock with a sito plus and I am running the 48/160 with a 102 main. No issues thus far (but do city riding).

Excellent, thanks Velasquez, I'll be doing city driving as well. Good to know you've been running fine with these settings. Cheers
