Wow, I didn't think my locations would be that hard to get to. Maybe the ones who know them don't want to go, and the ones who would like to go don't know them.

So, why don't you who can't make it but know one or more of the places, post the details here, so we have at least an off-road photo tag of some kind

Ah yes, the Orange Plaza traffic circle. Lots of childhood memories. I used to drive around that circle every day on the way to elementary school. Don't know what's there these days, but 15 years ago (when I moved to Oregon) there were lots of antique stores, a cosmotology school, and an army/navy surplus store. I bought an old dresser in one of the antique stores. Every Christmas they would set up a huge Santa, Snowman, and Nativity Scene, and it would be all lit up.

Yeah, those stores are all still there. Directly in the cirlce are a great Cuban restaurant (Felix), next to a cigar lounge and a coffee shop. All of those three are just to the left of the far corner in my picture.

Every summer they make it look very international, assigning old world countries to different sections of Chapman and Glassell.
It is just a nice piece of grown US culture, and a rare one in this southland.

Ahh I didn't know anyone was playing an OC scooter photo tag game.

I definitely could have gotten the plaza, Mining Company, and Orange Hill. I live a minute away from the Circle and I pass by the Mining Company and Orange Hill every Monday and Wednesday on the way to class.

I know exactly where that location is. The only problem is I'm over 900 miles away - Haven't lived down there for 15 years!

I wanted to volunteer on that ship, some ten years ago, but their schedule was too demanding for what I could do.
It would take me about 20 minutes to get there from work, and if Iget out in time tomorrow and don't forget, I might just swing by and take a dusk shot.

The Brig 'Pilgrim' Dana Point Harbor
It's a replica of the historic Pilgrim tall ship from the Richard Henry Dana Jr.'s novel "Two Years Before the Mast." Tours are given by docents in authentic costume from the time period. They just moved out of the frame when I took the picture. Dang. I mean, Arrrrgh!

I'm too late. I was there this morning. On the way home, I think I saw Moped (about 6:30 or so). I posted after dinner and found two of you beat me to it. Good job!

yeah, i saw one comming out on my way in that crossed pch.
then while out past the light before pch i saw one in the right lane, i was around there at 6-7 so chances are we all saw eachother either going in or comming out. wierd.

but i dont think i saw another scooter at cooks tonight. just stopped in to have a smoke before i took the picture of trabucco. i wanted to take one of it under the tree's but there were too many crosses on the turnouts. (would be somewhat morbid to have a tag right next to a cross with someones name on it.)
