Trying to find a decent tag from amongst the gazillion Starbucks. Here it is.

Here's a clue ... I made it real easy for you north county peeps. There is also a pretty good clue in the picture itself.

Okay, I'm a little confused in reading the above. The Starbucks is supposed to be the So OC tag spot, yes? Someone (besides me) is supposed to find my Starbucks and then they are it and continue with another So Co tag, correct?

I am going to go back and see what kinds of clues you guys give.

No worries, you're fine with your tag (this time).

Normally, you have to find the last IT's place first, take a picture as proof, and then you're it and may post a new tag. My thinking was you find any Starbucks, prove you were there, and then post a new tag for us to find. But never mind, your Starbucks is your tag now and we have to find it.

For clues, you could give away some information of what is around the corner from it, or which part of town, or which city, or both cross streets

don't make it too easy with the clues, I thought part of the fun was trying to find the tag, let it ride a day or 2 and then give a clue and not both cross streets that is too easy.
My wife and I enjoy hunting them down.

I'll set my sites on looking for the SBucks today.

Hmmm...that S-bucks looks very familiar.....

I understood that my Starbucks was supposed to be my tag. Being that there are so many of them in so many places, I tried to pick one that would be easy (but not too easy) to find.

You guys realize this new tag is in South County, right? I'm surprised it hasn't been tagged yet.

Sorry Yardsale .... I was just posting the Starbucks because that is what I thought I was supposed to post. Like I said, I realize Starbucks are on every corner, so I tried to pick an easy one to tag that someone could find without putting forth much effort. When I said it was easy, I meant it.

Using the one "hidden" clue in my photograph (which was unintentional, but was also pretty much a dead give away as to what city it was in) I was able find the address as well as a photograph of the location in less than two minutes using google.

I would have preferred a more unique tag, but I thought I was instructed to post a Starbucks pic. I didn't know I was supposed to post both until after I had put up the Starbucks pic and Moped told me that was good enough.

This is for you Alice: Don't listen to everyone else! Your tag is fine, the picture is great! Someone will find it and the game will go on. Hopefully we can keep the game "more south" so you can play more. Like Moped and Brandon said, if you want to give us a clue in a day or two that would be fine. Its always a nice day to go for a ride in So Cal. Like I said, someone will find it. Keep playing. Its more fun with more scooters.

It's hard for me to get down there during the week, but if no one snags it by Friday - I'll get it then....

I'm still in this too and have no problem going down there. It has just been a crazy week and things are finally slowing down. So if not tagged by the weekend I will go searching for it. I think I know where it may be.

Anyway, the Starbucks was on the corner of southbound PCH (PCH is one way streets through DP) and Del Prado in Dana Point.

Seriously, I did some web searching this morning and can't figure out what that is. I'm pretty sure I've seen it, but like you it's difficult for us No. county folks to recognize those So. county sights. I'll keep working on it....

Okay Yardsale, I don't know if you are lauging at my tag, or if you are laughing because Scooterfish said there was no crying in Scooter Tag.

Anything that I post will be something that is easy to find or somehow well known. It will also be accessible from surface streets because I never go on the freeway. It will also be in an interesting area so that if you do make the ride from the north, it won't be to take a picture of say ... a strip mall in Irvine. Going back to the very first post and picture in this thread, how would a person ever know where that street was unless they had driven by it a dozen times? I still don't know where it is.

Here is a hint for my tag: Yardsale is partly right. It was a hot spot in it's day, but those days are long gone. The pic has not been altered.
