So I'm seeing the mechanic tomorrow. Every time there's a major weather change or something and my tank is full there's a random stalling incident. I've had three in 4 months so it's pretty much a mildly annoying thing that happens monthly. Last time was in July, before then it was may.
My oil is old as dirt, getting that changed tomorrow. The bike starts right back up again, after two tries, usually is OK afterwards. Runs fine otherwise.
The battery is reading at 12 or a tiny bit less volts so that's OK, vollt meter doesn't go crazy while revving so I'm assuming its not electrical.
I'm missing my fuel cap, I'm gonna get a new one asap but that's a possible culprit.
Anyone else know what could cause a random low rpm stall out ? It's a 2006 gts 250 so I've assumed it's not the fuel pump, it wasn't running super hot either. It was just a bunch of bumper to bumper traffic for 20 minutes
Bikes also 10 years old and I bought it at 2000 miles and put 3k on it. It hasn't had much maintenance in its life time so I'm sorta thinking maybe spark plug cause it's old
