Hallo I have a Vespa GTS 250 i.e. from 2006 and I'm experiencing a weird issue:
when I accelerate I reach around 7000rpm 65 mph (105/110 kmh) but then it feels like it is blocked by something... if the road goes downhill then it is able to overcome the 'block' and reach 130 kmh (80mph).

Not sure what that could be. Injectors, air filters, transmission belt, rollers?

Any ideas?

Thank you
Paolo

Rev limiter, worn belt, worn variator, worn tires, slightly plugged air filter, or some combination of these. How many miles on your scooter?
