I would like to change these out for something better. Besides going back to Scooterwest, where else could I find these bulbs that will fit into the socket housings? I do shop at a site called Super Bright LEDs from time to time. That where I got my brake like modulator.

Another site you can check out for motorcycle LED solutions is Custom Dynamics - they've got loads of stuff, but not so much for the home (like SuperBrightLEDs does).

If you are looking for just the bulb, I happen to be a light bulb salesman in Ohio. We stock a bulb with that single contact bayonet base. It is 10-18v I couldn't tell you what the lumen output is but I know the bulb is around $14. I can find out more on Monday if you want to pm me.

That one is a BA15S base, not a BAU15S base.

No - BA15S has the pins the conventional 180° apart. BAU15S is the correct base type with the (150° ?) offset pins.

My apologies everyone. I failed to inspect closely enough nor have I have my own lights out to have known this.

Bau15s is the offset type then? I've been seeing bulbs but just need to make sure they aren't too long or they won't fit in the lens housings

So it seems.

You might have more luck buying from an EU supplier.

A quick search on Amazon for BAU15S Amber LED and I found these...

https://www.amazon.com/JDM-ASTAR-Bright-Chipsets-Projector/dp/B00XV4W686/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474914966&sr=8-1&keywords=bau15s+amber+led&refinements=p_72%3A2661618011

Measurements from the description are 1.93" long and 0.71" in diameter.

I purchased other JDM ASTAR (switchback 1157's) for the front and I'm very pleased with the results.

I like those bulbs shown above. Do they have the offset posts for the GTS sockets? What about the switchback 1157? The only concern I have is getting ones with the correct socket connection.

The 1157 switchback bulbs I have in the front of my GTS fit with the LED Switchback harness kit I bought from Scooterwest with no issues and went into the front lenses without modification. These won't work for the rear turns.

https://www.amazon.com/JDM-ASTAR-Extremely-Switchback-Brightest/dp/B00RV417XM/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1475095055&sr=1-4&keywords=1157+switchback+led

For the rear turns, the BAU15S bulbs are listed on Amazon at the link in my previous post.

Ok I'm thinking about putting a set of white in the front and a set of amber in the back. Anyone think this setup would be too distracting having whites in front? I'm not getting the switchback kind just standard.

The amber ones in the back would be fine. However, I'm pretty sure that having white ones on the front would not be street legal. Put amber ones in the front too or get the switch back kit for the front.
