"Xtreme" brand AGM battery from Batteries Plus: XTAX12-BS
The original died during the first year (2013). This one has worked well ever since.

Get a Shorai and save the weight. Catching fire is a thing of the past.

B, Amazon won't send us (Hawaii) batteries anymore. Guess they think they'll catch on fire.

Batteries are something I usually buy locally. It's always a Saturday morning when I'm ready to go for a ride that I discover the battery's gone. The Batteries Plus store (now "Batteries & Bulbs" I believe) is a mile away, opens early, and almost always has the battery I need in stock. No wasting the weekend waiting for a shipment or driving all around town looking for a slightly lower price.

in the past I used gel, glass mat and lead acid. Seem like one season battery. The Scorpion batteries hold up.

Shorai in mine, along with four other 'bikes.
No problem and lost much mass from each.

The stock OEM battery in the BV 350 is an AGM.

Walmart for batteries
Walmart for batteries
Yep. Just got an AGM for Buzz THROUGH Walmart Web Site. Supplied and shipped by Chrome Batteries. 14 Amp Hour, $36.00 and free shipping.

Measure your battery in all dimensions and note the Amp Hours and order what will fit and has the right (or more) amps. Walmart lists a lot, but I liked the price and that it was AGM which never needs water and won't spill if upside down. A real plus on PTWs.
