Hi all, I wanted to share with you on behalf of the VCOA Officers .... We have recently re-designed our membership program. As many of you know, club Officers have changed over time and thus the program has changed as well. The new Officers and Board recognize that there have been some areas of opportunity to improve upon and are up to the task to address those opportunities! The new Officers have all been on the job the last few months working diligently to bring you a membership program that works, offers value and is something you're proud to be a part of.

VCOA Membership Program Changes 2017

Well then, we encourage you to take a moment and join the Vespa Club of America. We have a new and exciting membership program that we would like to share with you. We wanted to create club perks that were useful, not only to your scooter life but your lifestyle in general. With the recent development of our Membership Partner Program we have teamed up with some very exciting companies we think you will want to frequent.

While the list of Membership Partners is growing, here are a few of the companies that will give our members a discount anywhere from 10%-50% off. Condor, Jay Teske Leather Co., Kenda Tires, Scooter Skirts, John Fluevog Shoes, Kroops Goggles, Xena Security, Gerbing heated clothing and Cycle Gear.

What exactly is the Vespa Club of America?
Founded in 1992, the Vespa Club of America or VCoA is a non-profit group that is dedicated to development of community and comradery generated by scooter enthusiast. We also act as historians for scooter culture here in the United States. While we promote many smaller clubs and events, we host the annual scooter celebration Amerivespa. The VCoA is a great group to find support for restoration, technical advice, rides either short or touring rides (like the Scooter Cannonball), or if you like to collect toys or memorabilia, you can find people to share your passion. The VCoA is the largest scooter club in the United States.

Thanks for signing up! We appreciate your loyalty to the VCOA and look forward to ensuring that you belong to a club you're proud to be a part of! Be patient with us over the next couple of months as we really get everything moving. We aim to please and promise you that we're trying our best to enhance the membership offerings, communication and the club as a whole.

We expect the lapel pins and cards to be back from the manufacturer by the end of the month, or early January so that's when the new and renewal membership packets will likely go out. We will be sending out emails to keep you apprised of club happenings. But I do want you to know that we are waiting for the orders from the printers so your packets likely won't arrive until after the first of the year, but we're all over it.

I renewed my membership Saturday after a very nice email I received from the folks at VCOA. It showed much concern for my past frustration with the club and asked for another chance. After visiting the website I noticed many positive changes already. I thank all the Officers and Board members for their efforts. And wish the best in the future.

I am in, too! I joined in mid-January: the 18th is what my receipt says. I am excited!

I joined a few months back. I don't recall seeing a membership card. Is that a new feature?
I don't recall a discount either for signing for Seattle event either.

Hey there! The discount for members was effective when registration opened in August 2016. It's a $5 discount. Have you registered for Amerivespa?

The other new membership perks were put into place in mid-December with the new program roll out. You can find more information HERE.
