Looks great! The mat lays there, as you have placed it. Shhhhhhhhhh!!!!
If you do not like that warning sticker staring back at you, as you look down, may I recommend you remove it. The DOT will not come looking for you, if you do remove it. The easiest way is to use a hair dryer, to warm it up and loosen the glue behind it, in order to safely remove it, without damaging the paint. Take it slow and easy. |

I don't have a mat on my 2009 GTV (also Portofino Green) but the battery cover screws into the frame in four places. You's looks like one continues piece of plastic.
A comment many have made over the years wrt mats is that dir will get under the mat and ultimately will scratch the surface of the floor under the mat. BEst Miguel |

Hi,
That. GtV. looks. Awesome!!. I have a GT60 with the alarm housed behind the left knee pad. Does anyone know if it's possible and how easy it is to hook up the power outlet knee pad with the alarm unit housed behind? Thanks! |

Floor mat for GTV
Jim, You have to carefully pry up the outside rubber strip on each side of the floor board The tabs on the floor mat then push down into the exposed holes.

I put the same mat on my GTV 2 years ago and still love it! I also did the brown knee pads like yours too. I added the 9V charger on the one side as well. Never used it though. Maybe someday.

Lovely scooter...Warning be careful with those mats. After a while dirt & grit get under your mat which then turns abrasive fetching your paint off. Remove regularly and clean.

Some other Accesories
I've had my 300 GTV for just over a month and can't stop smiling every time I look at it. You floor mats look great. I need to think about that. I added a very nice leather top case and an Italia license frame to my scoot. Love the look of both.

Lobo might be a Yelcome. His site is yelcome.com. He does a knockoff version of the original Piaggio topcases. He used to put the Piaggio logo on his. I shot him a email about that. People would think that they were the real deal. That said his are made WAY better than the Piaggio ones. Piaggio stopped making them in 2001-2004. They came in black and brown. I think Piaggio is making the them again. ScooterWest has some for sale but don't know if it was a limited run. I had one in brown. Paid $600 for it and never really used it. Sold it for $300. Large one is $295 on his site. If you look at the pics from SW and his site, you can tell his are made better.

So I used the widest electrical tie wraps I could find. Which meant if I removed it, had to cut the wraps and use a new set of tie wraps when remounting. I have since bought some long Velcro straps for ease of removing or replacing, but haven't tried them yet. |

S i found the same thing. Like my rear rack plain. The rain and other things here, were not conducive to having it on all the time. Plus it was easy to steal.
