If I may suggest.
Attempting to measure the distances from radiused edges will get you close at best.
Try sending a "Rubbing" of the badge/rivets/legshield trim.
The back of a spoon or side of a closed end wrench works great.
Then you can tape it on and transfer location points.
I have a 61 VBA, Are they all the same, and in the same location?
I can send you my layout.

by the way, I need the measurements of only 2 or 3 holes from the edge.

I want to drill out only the bondo not the metal sheet. I want to be as close to original as possible.

thanks in advance.

Paint looks really nice! I cant help with the measurements, but do you mind telling me how much the paint and body work cost?

ok,,,

the hole at the bottom of the V is 40mm in from the side of frame and the hole on the number 1 is 100mm down from the top of frame edge.

If you can't find any holes on the third try, think about using 3m double sided tape. I know that not what you want to use, but gosh darn it, that paint looks really nice, and to be able to relocate your holes with someone else's measurements...well good luck, and be careful!

yes, the paint is perfect. I guess the paint guy didn't have much patience in the end. I asked him to call me after the primer. but this is causing me extra work. I had all the holes in there but he just covered it with bondo.

thank u for the complements. I am trying to go for a concourse level restoration. got 95% of stuff original, rubber grommets I need to buy. will update pics of the progress.

thanks again.

I need one more hole please. right now I am drawing this on a piece of paper and it can be different positions.

if u can provide the bottom v hole from the top, that would be helpful or the 1 from the side

or provide both holes from the top and side.

I owe u a big thanks
