Just showing off the work I've gotten done on my TukTuk. And I know its not a TukTuk, I know its an AutoRickshaw and TukTuk is a brand, but so is Coke, Xerox, and Kleenix. But like those, TukTuk is the thing I can say, and most people know what I am talking about.
Got her running, and got her painted. The paint job is a home brew and just barely above rattle can level. I just was REALLY sick of staring at that horrible brown color and all the rust and dents. Its not perfect, but it will last me a year or so. And if after that time I am still in love with it, I'll get a pro to paint it and do dent repair then.
She runs strong aside from a charging issue" its not charging" So for now I got 50 miles and re fill the gas tank and take the battery inside to charge. Not ideal, but its working.
Later this summer after I figure the electrical issue, me and a buddy are going to try to shoe horn a new pipe in there and swap to a bigger carb. See if we can do that and swap to 10" wheels and maybe go from 28mph to 35mph. Don't want to make a rocket ship but it would be nice to be less of a traffic hazard.
