Does anyone know of any crash protection for a 2009 fly 150? Can anything from a vespa 150 be adapted? I've looked for a long time and seen nothing. Thanks for any help.
I don't think so. You might be able to modify ones for another bike. Hopefully someone will chime in. Never found any for my LT 150 when i had it, either. Good luck
Even if there were any crash bars, they wouldn't be of much use. There are no sturdy chassis points inside to mount them, so they would just mount on the plastics. Unfortunately Flys are just bloated plastic scooters...

That is their crash protection. Relatively inexpensive plastic body parts as opposed to the Vespa's all metal body.
I don't think you got my point. As I understand the OP is looking for crash bars so as to protect the plastics. The problem is that the Flys especially, don't have any sturdy points to mount any crash bars. The plastics on Flys are really "bloated" compared to the actual "volume" of chassis inside. I know that plastics is the main protection in scooters. Inexpensive, I wouldn't say. They are really expensive, especially when ordered painted...
