I've been using mine for many years and it has held up very well. It sits on my patio and is exposed to direct sun, rain and it still operates as new.

Agree! I own one and it has served me well. The perfect lift for scoot tooling. I paid the same Excellent sale price of $279.99 years back, so I don't think it'll ever go lower. If you've been on the fence about this one, my advice is to take the plunge, you'll be Very glad you did.
Just a heads up: Should you purchase this lift, do yourself a favor and buy some SAE hydraulic jack oil too. These lifts have been known to come bone dry. Mine was. Oil is cheap. Check yours before operating it.
Why not make life easier?

I'm looking at that also. It's sale price is $279 right now with no coupon needed. Means you can use the 20% coupon as well. I just have to figure out how to get it home with my Civic hatchback.

living in an apt in brooklyn, it isn't feasible to get one of these lifts as there is no way to store it. Some of us just continue to wrench on the side walk and do the best we can... Some day maybe Ill have a place to have a garage or a driveway..

I bought mine several years ago for $200. The weak point on these lifts is the pump. I replaced the original pump a few years ago and now that pump has developed a slow leak.

I would advise installing a few other tie down points/anchors on your lift. Beefy "I-Bolts" works nicely as tie down points.

Other than that pump leak, my lift has been invaluable to me. I've used it on everything from my mopeds to my old Burgman 650 and everything in between.

I got a 40% off coupon from them and only paid about $90 with tax. It has a vertical lift of about 21" which is plenty high for getting under the motor for oil changes and repairs. It's really light and has a detachable handle so you can easily share it. Our club has one and we pass it around to do work.

I use this one and have found it to be great, especially since it lifts really high...easy on the ol' back.

It's not on sale right now, but IIRC I got mine on sale for $149 a few years ago.

I've been using one for a couple of years and its saved my back and knows. With the swivel hydraulic stool they are a perfect team.

SS. How do you balance the scooter on it? Do you have a picture with greg scooter on the lift?

My LX and LXV are a bit tail heavy and require tightening the supplied straps over the floorboard. Once that's done, it's quite stable.

The rearmost strut on the lift supports the center stand in its raised position, providing plenty of side-to-side stability.

Thanks SS. That helps.I purchased a slightly different style HF lift for $40 a few months back. It has the same style of fork tho. I just haven't seen a scooter on it tho I know people use them. I"m sure I'll figure it out.

If you lift it with the center stand up, how do you hold the bike upright until the jack engages the bottom of the bike?

I just straddle the bike and roll it over the forks with them the whole way down, then reach over and pump them up until they contact the underside. Then I get off and secure the straps before pumping it the rest of the way up.

I just do the whole thing in reverse order when I'm done.

Thanks. I am not sure what I'll do yet. I had envisioned putting it on the side stand and start jacking it up till it was fully supported by the stand and then strap it down. I'll take pics when i do it later this year.

Well I guess it's time to put an addition on the garage!

Right now in our garage there is a Nissan Rouge, a 1988 Sportster, 1992 Sportster with sidecar, a GTV300 and on the HABAFright lift a 1982XS650 Yamaha. And that list is forgetting the two Ariens snowblowers, this is Central NY you know!

I thought all they had was space in Kansas.

It's a one-car garage! I am thinking about a rack for the trek bike and weed wacker.

I wonder with some padding could this be used to lift the Vespa up

My guess is it would still need some straps to hold it down. I don't see how I could find a lift that could be used on the sidewalk and also be kept under the stairs.
I think folks like me in Brooklyn have to find a place that will allow us to work on our scoots in their garage.. not likely to happen.
