I accidentally left my
2010 VESPA GTS 300 running for about 4 hours and now when I try to start my Vespa it stalls after about 1minute after starting?
Please HELP as this is driving me crazy !!!!
When I remembered I left my Vespa running I ran to the shed and the Vespa was no longer running but the key was turned in the on position and the shed was SO WARM AND THE VESPA WAS VERY WARM !
Did I overheat the Vespa causing damage?
I purchased a new battery and the Vespa still stalls?
Please give me some advice of what could be the trouble Cheers!

My guess is that the fuel pump burned out when the scooter ran out of fuel.

I concur about the fuel pump.

Fuel pump as mentioned. There's was a recall program for fuel pumps on all Piaggio models in Europe, possibly there too. Was the pump ever replaced under warranty?? The program is still running here...

Did the fan come on? It should have done after about 10mins of idling. If not (the fan circuit is notorious for blown fuses, seized fans etc) then you may well have overheated the engine - not just the fuel pump.

Check your coolant level...
