So, many of you will not approve, but I often carry my eight year old with me while riding. His feet don't even come close to the foot pegs (of course), so his legs get really tired from gripping the scoot with his thighs. I am trying to figure out the best way to make him more comfortable. I was thinking that a back rest might be helpful and less fatiguing. I saw the foot peg extenders, but he is only a little over four feet tall so he still wont even come close to reaching them.
Do any of you have a really small pillion rider who can chime in on this?
thanks.

Google "Motorcycle child seat". Proper, full protection gear is implied...

Interesting, my son at 7.5 could reach the footrest though that was on the Buddy which being narrower is a bit easier. We have a top case on each of our scoots which makes it much more comfortable for a passenger plus gives us secure storage for a helmet.

No judgement here, I have been riding my eight year old since he was seven, and a good quality helmet fit his head.

I've never seen any safety seats for children before.

Pretty sure it has to be solid pegs to be legal, bracket some off from a bolt at the rear of the footboards or rear crash bars etc & use bmx pegs for the pegs & added protection, easy enough to adjust as they grow too 🖒
