Hey all, I just installed new Koso heated grips and just need to know what switched hot wire to use on a GT200.

I can find videos and info for LX150s and GTS300s, but nada for a GT200....

Spider uses the orange wire on the LX150 video...any chance the orange one shown below will work. Or...? Help...?

i use the white wire coming from the fuse box, that way its covered by a 10 amp fuse and its also switched on when the ignition key is on.
Cheers

I ran mine off a separate fuse block with a relay to the battery. With that method I was able to use a heavier gauge wire.

I prefer running a dedicated hot from the battery with an inline fuse. this way I am not impacting any other circuit.

Done and done -- off the white wire Andy suggested.

Since I had to remove the glove box assembly to get at the fuse box, it might have made sense to just go ahead and wire straight up to the battery, but so it goes.

The grips and wiring where pretty easy, but futzing with the glove box and all the trim -- what a pain!

Off for a test-ride in this brief window of almost sunny weather....
